If you want to expand your musical horizon I highly recommend http://www.pandora.com/. You give it a starting band or artist, then the system tries to play music similar to this one. You can further refine what songs are chosen for you by voting on each new song either "play more of this kind" or "play less of this kind". One could just listen to DI.FM to discover new songs you'd like, but using pandora internet radio is a much more interactive experience and in that way much more satisfactory when you come upon a new song you really like.
Just play around a bit with it and see if you have fun with it. I do.
